Honda Jazz won the Japan Car of the Year award in 2001 and 2002. The first generation Jazz achieved  cumulative sales of more than 2 million units. The second generation avatar was launched in India in 2009. But sales went declining from 2000 units in june 2009 to 504 units in september 2009 504. High price and many feature related drawbacks were the reason. So honda cars india have added a new variant to its Jazz hatchback. The 'X Edition' boasts premium styling, spacious interiors, versatile utility and remarkable performance and fuel efficiency. The Jazz X aims at getting customers back into the showrooms and give the slow moving hatch a second lease of life.

Seating capacity of Jazz X is 5 . The Jazz X consider the troubles of its previous version and comes with additional features such as Alloy Wheels, Rear Parcel Tray, Front Mud Flaps, USB Port in Music System, Front Fog Lamps, Height Adjustable Driver's Seat, Body Coloured Front Grille, Body Coloured Spoiler, New Blue and Black Combination Interiors  and New Red Shade.
